Ah, another day, another “expert” on YouTube telling us how we’re all navigating the complexities of male-female relationships incorrectly.

6 HARSH Truths about WOMEN, Men Learn TOO Late/High Value Male/YouTube

High Value Male’s video, “6 HARSH Truths about WOMEN, Men Learn TOO Late,” attempts to enlighten men on the elusive women’s code.

You know, the one where apparently all we’re good for is “lust or pity.”

It’s intriguing, really, the sort of myths men tell themselves to rationalize their own inability to relate with 51% of the world’s population.

Let’s start with this business of lust or pity.

According to High Value Male, men fall into two categories in the eyes of women: those we desire and those we pity.

Oh, dear.

What a simplistic and misguided understanding of the multiple dimensions that human interactions can inhabit.

Reducing every interaction between men and women to these binary categories does a disservice to both genders.
